A deposit is required when an animal is hospitalized with the remainder of the bill due when the animal is released to the owner. For elective procedures, payment is due when the animal is released to the owner. We accept payment in cash, card, check, care creditor, scratch pay. Should you fail to pay at any time, any portion of the bill for your pet's care, you agree to pay the cost of delinquency charges, collection charges and reasonable attorney's fees. Delinquency charges are 50% of unpaid balance. Our receptionists create all invoices from charts and travel sheets filled out during your pet's exam and stay. If someone acts as your agent, then you will need to send a payment check with the appointment or call our office in advance to give us your credit card information for payment. We will mail an invoice with a copy of your check or credit card receipt.

Missed appointment charge.

Excessive bleeding during surgery or after surgery, infection at the surgery site, infection in the incision leading to the incision opening up.

Spays will sometimes experience sudden enlargement of the mammary glands for several weeks after the surgery. This is most common in animals in heat. Abdominal surgeries will sometimes have a decrease in intestinal movement leading to vomiting or constipation.

Anesthetic complications include low blood pressure, slow heart rate, medication reaction that can lead to side effects up to and including death.

Costs for a basic dental vary according to length of procedure and size/weight or the patient. Extractions, tooth fracture repair and other corrective procedures will have additional costs.

A $250.00 deposit is required on the day of the patient's scheduled dental.

After an oral examination, we may recommend dental radiographs, tooth fracture repair, periodontal treatments and/or extractions. Cost for simple extractions are $5-$30 per tooth but can range as high as $50 for more involved extractions. Many pets require no additional work but further costs can range as high as $1,100 with severe oral disease.
