We are open and here to help!

Here at Desert View Animal Hospital, we care about our clients, our staff and our community. In order to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19, we are practicing social distancing by adjusting to offer curb-side service and closing our lobby. When you arrive at the clinic please wait in your car and call us at 362-3184. We will be happy to get you checked in and a staff member will come out and get your pet for its exam while you wait in the comfort and safety of your car. Once Dr. Stephanie finishes her exam, she will call you and discuss the exam with you. We ask you to please be available by phone for our doctor to contact you about your pet while they are at Desert View Animal Hospital. In a hurry? You may also drop your pet off and we will call you with updates. Our client registration form, patient history form and consent forms are available on our website at www.desertviewanimalhospital.com. If you need medication, food or merchandise for your pet, we still have these things available. When you get to the clinic, just call us and tell us what you need and a staff member will be happy to bring it out to you. If you decide you would rather order these items from the comfort of your home, you are welcome to click on the “retail pharmacy” tab on our website where you can order items and even set up auto shipping! If you need help with online ordering, feel free to call us and we will help you get set up.

We are continuing to offer free pickup and return of your pet if you are sick, quarantined, or for those that are at high risk of complications of COVID-19 (such as the elderly or those with compromised immune systems) in the Rock Springs area. If you have a scheduled appointment or a sick furbaby and wish to take advantage of this service, please let us know. Please give 24 hours notice for scheduled appointments, dentals and surgeries or as much notice as possible for urgent and emergency situations. Payment arrangements must be made when the pick-up is scheduled.

Here at Desert View Animal Hospital, we take great care to keep our facility clean to control the infectious animal diseases we currently deal with every day. However, in response to COVID-19, we are increasing our cleaning of commonly used/touched surfaces such as door knobs, benches, etc. with products that are capable of killing the COVID-19 virus.

If you would prefer to check in and wait in your vehicle until we are ready for your pet, we will come out to get you in order to minimize time in the reception area. We will then be able to take you into a clean exam room immediately.
